Heather was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. She attended Clemson University where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography. After graduation, she began working for a photographer in downtown Charleston where she became involved in wedding photography. After working for someone else for awhile, Heather decided to branch off and start her own photography business.
For the past year and a half, Heather has been photographing weddings, families and children on her own. Although she is fairly new to the business, her love of what she does and her skill only increase with each photograph that she takes. During her photo shoots, heather's goal is to capture the true sides and beauty of her subjects. She is not after the typical posed portrait, but an image that represents the essence of the subject. As a photographer, she feels this is crucial and strives to depict this in each and every image that she creates.
